  • Down The Road
    by Simon France
 on March 17, 2025 at 7:06 am

We tell business stories through the lens of our life stories and we start with the people who are down the road from where I live, which is a small coastal town 3 hours north of Sydney, Australia called Forster. If you haven’t been here, it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Some of these people are only a little way down the road on their business journeys, others close to the end. What I have found though in talking to each of them is that I walk away not only enjoying their story but reflecting on my own life and work in the light of their reflections. Have I really chosen a career I love? How influential has my family been on my decisions?Do I celebrate success at work well?Would I be willing to take a risk like that? So come along for the ride as you enjoy the […]

Problem Solving

+ drop down the following info

Every business has challenges, the key is ensuring time doesn’t slip too long before they are addressed. Sometimes due to time and energy to address the challenge or due to the nature of the problem it can be helpful to bring in outside support.
The methodology here is to work with you:
  • to identify the ingredients and dig into the challenge at hand to ensure we have all the key aspects on the table and clearly articulated
  • to then facilitate discussions and workshops to drive towards clarity on agreed priorities and decisions that need to be made
  • design an actionable plan based on the decisions made to measure success

Digital Transformation

+ drop down the following info

Realising you need new digital technology is one thing, actually getting the right tools in place and being used is another.

Most people agonise over the tool they chose but in reality the internal management of expectations, budgets and user adoption is far more important. No tool will be a perfect fit, they all have limitations.

The work we do with clients is to help them:
  • clearly understand what problem the digital technology will solve, how it will solve the challenge and what the return on investment will be
  • ensure this is clearly articulated and owned internally, especially by the teams who will be expected to use any new technology
  • build a strategy for ensuring the future users of the technology are brought along for the digital transformation ride
