Throughout the podcast whenever Amanda talks of a success or a great moment she very quickly says “it wasn’t just me”. She is very conscious that her role is one amongst many.
What is great though is that alongside this is a clear understanding of her role and the value she brings. She recounts how she has had to stand her ground in a few situations, even playing mediator to help bring about realistic expectations to match desire and budget and a variety of opinions.
It is one thing to be able to point to others in your success, it’s another to be able to do that from a position of confidence where you are secure in your own place and role.
