Are you willing to unblock the toilet?
It’s really a question about what type of team player you are and what type of leader you are.
In listening to Garry speak in this podcast it’s pretty clear that everyone in his team, himself included, need to be willing to roll their sleeves up. And for him as the leader he says “don’t be afraid to do it yourself”.
Interestingly with this mindset it then seems easy for Garry to sing the praises of others.
In fact before the interview he said to me please make sure I don’t forget to praise my wife and my volunteers. Sometimes I get carried away in the stories but I want to make sure everyone knows nothing could have happened without them. Especially my Marg.
